FAQ's
Booking Appointments
All new appointments require a consultation prior to booking. For large projects and cover-ups, an in-person consult is mandatory. Consults are free of charge.
A non-refundable deposit is required to book any appointment. No dates or times will be held without a deposit. Deposits get deducted from the final cost of the completed tattoo.
If you need to reschedule, your deposit will carry over only with at least 48 hours' notice. Cancellations with less notice result in forfeiting the deposit.
Multiple reschedules, last-minute cancellations or no-shows may result in being unable to book in the future..
Aftercare
Taking care of your new tattoo is essential to proper healing and preserving your artwork. Please follow these steps closely:
1) Leave the bandage on
Your tattoo will be bandaged after your session. Leave it on for 2–6 hours (or as instructed). If using Saniderm or a second skin wrap, follow your artist’s directions — usually 24–48 hours before replacing or removing.
2) Wash your hands first
Before touching your tattoo, always wash your hands with soap and water.
3) Gently was the tattoo
Remove the bandage and gently wash the tattoo with lukewarm water and fragrance-free, gentle soap. Pat dry with a clean towel or let it air dry — do not rub.
4) Apply a thin layer of aftercare product.
Once dry, apply a thin layer of recommended tattoo ointment (like Aquaphor, Hustle Butter, or a fragrance-free healing balm). Less is more — your skin should feel hydrated, not greasy.
5) Keep it clean and moisturized
For the first 7–10 days:
Wash your tattoo 1–2 times a day
Reapply a light layer of aftercare ointment or unscented lotion as needed
Avoid over-moisturizing
6) What to avoid
No soaking: Avoid baths, swimming pools, hot tubs, or lakes
No sun exposure: Keep it out of direct sunlight and avoid tanning beds
No scratching or picking: Let any flaking or scabbing happen naturally
7) Healing timeline
Days 1–3: Redness and slight swelling are normal
Days 4–10: Peeling, flaking, and itching — don’t pick!
Week 2+: Skin may look cloudy or dry — keep moisturizing
8) Long term care
Once healed, protect your tattoo with SPF 30+ sunscreen anytime it’s exposed to the sun to keep colors and detail sharp.
